A Gucci Inspired Office

In late August I was asked to decorate an office space for Bianca Sisco, a busy Marketing Strategist, wife, and mom of three. Her plate is full! And I have to be honest, when she first shared with me that she wanted a “Gucci inspired” office space, I was a little unsure as to what that would look like. After reviewing her Pinterest board, I got to googling… ya’ll know me. And I resourced “Gucci inspired” colors. Several of the pics above came up, including secondary brand colors that included pink. Now there were so many colors on this pallette to consider and bring together in a  cohesive manner. So after speaking with her again, I learned that the cheetah element was a non-negotiable. She wanted lots of pink infused with that green color. And florals were a must. It was only then, that I was able to do what I do, which is stand in the middle of the room and begin to imagine it; the furniture placement, the elements, the lighting, and the finishing touches.

Since the entire design was based off of Gucci’s primary green color, I started with paint, and literally looked up the RGB number for “Gucci green”. If you’ve been following me for any amount of time, you already knew the paint was going to be Behr… duh, right?😊“Hidden Gems” was a near-perfect  match. The room was small so we used the green for the feature wall, and paired it with Behr’s “Even Better Beige”, which gave the room a luxe feel.

Before...

My client needed this room to have one side as an office, and the other side a vanity area, where she could brainstorm, prepare and record content, and meet with clients via Zoom with a gorgeous background. So here we go…

The Reveal...

Breaking down sourcing of all the things here...

She already had the vanity table, desk, and desk chair, lamp, and the items on the bookshelves are “found” items from my home collection of decor items and hers that were simply repurposed. Ya’ll know there was some spray painting that took place, right? Lol! The “live your dream” artwork was a re-purposed item that was spray painted, along with a few items on the bookshelves, desk and vanity. The wall art behind the desk and on the vanity wall, as well as the two large mirrors flanking the vanity, are all from Ross, Burlington, TJ Maxx or Home Goods, so unfortunately I’m unable to add source links for those. A big, HUGE shout-out to Peggie Simmons, who took me all over town to all of her “spots”😄at the start of this project, sourcing whatever might be needed. Thank you so, so much Miss Peggie!😍 The faux Mongolian pillow on the desk chair is from At Home, so no link for that one as well. But a list of everything else is below with clickable links. Can you guess where most of it came from? If you’ve been following me any amount of time, I bet you can!😉

Fun fact: The original curtain order arrived in the wrong length. But since I was having a hard time finding a good, hot pink fabric to re-upholster the green ottomans with, I used the incorrect curtains… yay! You have to always think outside the box.

Since she was busy having baby #3 when the space was completed, we didn’t get to do our planned “HGTV-like Reveal”, but here’s what she sent via text upon seeing her newly decorated space for the first time…

“Good morning! Thank you doesn’t even say enough! I walked into my office this morning to look at it and I’m incredibly grateful for you! My office being decorated is a dream come true! It looks stunning! Gucci Designer green. Florals. Pink! Personal touches with things I love in GOLD!”

I’m so grateful, having been entrusted to bring her vision to life. It’s another fun, successful project in the books. Now what shall I tackle next?

I am beyond grateful for you and the incredible work you’ve done! My office is absolutely stunning, and I couldn’t be more in love with how everything came together. You’ve transformed it into my own personal sanctuary, a space that inspires peace, creativity, and productivity.

Your talent and attention to detail are truly exceptional. Every element, every feature, and every carefully chosen color reflects my personality and the things I adore most: beautiful shades of pink, bold cheetah prints, and the timeless elegance of Gucci. You captured my vision so beautifully and brought it to life in a way that exceeded every expectation.
